Member of the Board
There is an old saying that explains that those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it.
This resonates for me as I am the son of Jewish refugees who escaped from Eastern Europe after World War 2 and our family experienced the ‘first hand’ impacts and consequences of the Shoah, the most significant of which is the fact that our Grandparents were not part of our lives. In this context it's unsurprising that I’ve long believed that my generation has a responsibility to do whatever it can to ensure that this history does not repeat itself and that goes a long way to explain why I feel a strong personal connection to the Mission of the March of the Living.
I am honoured to have joined the Board of MOTL and commit to using my skills and experience gleaned from over 30 years as a senior executive in the financial services industry to delivering on our Mission and to ensure the past is never repeated.
